This year I've signed up for the Polar Bear Challenge. It runs from the start of November to the end of March, so one week to go!
I've gone for Arctic which means swimming 250m twice a month and 3000m in total each month. Last time I swam through the winter I used some neoprene gloves and boots but that isn't allowed, swimsuit and one latex hat only. The distance shouldn't be an issue as long as I can get in the water 3 times a week although that is going to involve some early morning starts now the evenings are too dark to swim after work. I might need to go into the office a bit in November and December in which case I can probably engineer a swim on the way.
My plan is to log all my swims along with the running total here...
